After months with no traffic, and numerous heavy storms, this zone was a mess. There was significant accumulation of fines in the transition, settlement cracks in the downslope, and vegetation growing aggressively.
The transition was raked to agitate, and remove vegetation. Wet fines were applied to other surfaces (these were still soft from recent rains). All surfaces were compacted. This will benefit from additional work following the next rainfall. Additional sediment is available for further nearby repairs.
